In June, like every year, the end of the Rotary annuity will expire the two Cuneo Rotary clubs are about to reunite.
First the extraordinary meeting of Rotary Club Cuneo-Alpi del Marelast March 4th, by a large majority, then on April 23rd that of Cuneo Club they unanimously voted in favor of the proposed merger between the two.
The reasons that led to their separation have disappeared and from the point of view of representativeness, as well as for operation, having only one increases their specific weight and yield.
The new name of the club once merged is also up for vote.
The advisory opinion saw “ROTARY CLUB CUNEO 1925” preferred as the new name for the merged Club.
“Now we need to meet and define the ways to start the proposal” explains the president of the Rotary of Cuneo, Claudio Grossi. “For the official launch we will propose the merger to the Rotary International secretariat in Zurich”.
The presidency of the new club, resulting from the merger, will also be defined, so only one president between the two currently in office will be sufficient and therefore one of the two will have to withdraw.
