MONTESILVANO – “In view of the elections for the renewal of the mayor and the municipal council of the city of Montesilvano, scheduled for next June, Noi Moderati intends to focus the attention of the parties of the center-right coalition on the principles and modus operandi with which it was born a unitary candidacy”.
He declared it in a note Aurelio Cilli, provincial commissioner of Pescara for the administrative elections of Noi Moderati, regarding the municipal elections of Montesilvano which see a split centre-right, with the League having decided to nominate the former councilor Anthony Alianoafter the break with the mayor elected with the Northern League, Ottavio De Martinis, who is also president of the Province of Pescara, who is instead supported by the leaders of Fratelli d’Italia and Forza Italia.
“Based on the political experience of the past, which has led the center-right to unified and successful choices over the years” specifies party commissioner Cilli, “the parties accredited to this area have always expressed candidacies of the outgoing mayor”.
“The statements of Mayor De Martinis”, continues Cilli, “who is ready to run again, supported by a civic list and with the availability of some parties accredited to this area, create an embarrassing division in the entire coalition”.
Finally, concludes the commissioner of the Noi Moderati party, “we believe that reflection is necessary, because this choice would risk undermining the unity of the center-right which guaranteed the victory of Marcus Marsilio in the Region and is a guarantee of national, regional and municipal good governance”.
