The grandmothers of the “Vivi la vita” center brought the milk sweets prepared during the laboratory hours while the women of the “Women’s Project” presented their activities and offered a tray of typical Tunisian sweets. Thus the “Fondazione San Vito Onlus”, the operational arm of the diocesan Caritas, participated in the eleventh edition of “Adopt a plant” at the “Melograno” nursery in Mazara del Vallo where mentally disabled people practice social agriculture.

The Foundation was invited to participate and the grandmothers and ladies who attend the workshops participated together with the president Vito Puccio. «For our Foundation it was a further opportunity to raise awareness of the activities that take place every day – said President Puccio – but also an opportunity to discuss with the other associations that carry out activities of social interest in the Mazara area» .

At the Foundation’s premises for years, among the activities that have been carried out there is one for the elderly with the “Vivi la vita” center and one for Tunisian women through the “Women’s Project”, with sewing, theatre, singing and pastry making activities .
