“Still problems with disabled transport in Marsala”

Transport for disabled people in Marsala is still fraught with problems. Despite having been requested several times and despite the fact that the branch councilor has always done his utmost to resolve these requests, the service – vital for transporting those with little or poor mobility to aggregation or rehabilitation centers – continues to constantly be interrupted due to breakdowns that occur to the vehicles in charge, not allowing disabled people to benefit from a more than necessary service.

“The damage to the cars persists despite continuous repairs and addressing this inconvenience in this way cannot now be the only solution – states the provincial manager for social services of the MpA, Rossella De Vita from Marsala -. We hope that in the next budget that will be presented, useful sums will be allocated for the purchase of new cars, so that we can finally overcome this difficulty and allow equal rights for the disabled. We will continue to be vigilant about the needs of our children in order to guarantee them equal conditions of well-being and autonomy.”
