SAN SEVERO. The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di San Severo and the local station have implemented two separate precautionary custody orders, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Foggia at the request of the local public prosecutor’s office, against a total of seven Sanseveresi (five of whom were subjected to the measure of pre-trial detention in prison and two under house arrest) accused, jointly, of dealing of narcotic substances.

The detailed investigation, conducted since October 2023 under the direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Foggia, has made it possible to collect serious indications of crime in relation to two separate retail drug dealing activities of the cocaine, hashish and marijuana type that the seven suspects, belonging to two different families, had started in their respective homes located in the historic center of the Daunian municipality, with video surveillance systems and armored accesses with railings to elude investigations, in favor of both Sanseverese and whether coming from neighboring municipalities or regions.

In response to the activities carried out, during the investigations 2 people were arrested in flagrante delicto, 5 others were reported and 239.53 grams of hashish, 9.30 of marijuana, 7.92 of cocaine and 3.45 of heroin.

Furthermore, during the execution of the restrictive measures, the Carabinieri carried out two further arrests in flagrante delicto, having found inside the home of one of the two families and seized approximately 3.2 kilograms of hashish divided into “blocks”. , as well as approximately 10 grams of cocaine divided into doses.
