“The Rolando Mayor Committee judges negatively and critically the statements of Claudio Scajola on the upcoming Sanremo elections – we read in a note – not only in his role as mayor of Imperia but above all for his role as president of the Province who at an institutional level should be super partes, everyone’s president, including the future mayor of Sanremo”.
“Taking sides so openly for only one side appears to be a serious and unacceptable interference by Imperia in the free electoral choices of the people of Sanremo – they add from the Committee – interference that we do not accept, but which probably pleases another mayoral candidate. And we are certain that the citizens of Sanremo will be able to draw the necessary considerations on this”.
