The transit and parking bans for the Cosenza-Bari match on Saturday 27 April

In anticipation of the Cosenza-Bari football match, valid for the 35th day of the Serie B championship and scheduled at the San Vito-Marulla Stadium on Saturday 27 April, at 4.15 pm, the Municipal Police Command has issued an ordinance for reasons of public order and to regulate the influx into the stadium and the consequent outflow of the two groups of fans, separately, quickly and without risks to public safety.

In compliance with the request for specific regulation of road traffic on Viale Magna Grecia formulated by the Police Headquarters, in order to guarantee the smooth running of the sporting event, it has been established, for Saturday 27 April, from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm, and in any case until the needs cease, the ban on vehicular and pedestrian transit on:

  • VIALE MAGNA GRECIA
  • VIA G.FORMOSO, in the stretch between via Veterani dello Sport and viale Magna Grecia.

Furthermore, with the same provision, a ban on parking with removal is established, from 12.00 to 20.00 and in any case until the need ceases, on:

  • VIA DEGLI STADI, on the entire road section of the stretch corresponding to the A2 viaduct up to number 98;
  • VIA DEGLI STADI on the entire road section of the stretch between number 99 and via Milone;
  • VIA DEGLI STADI, on the right side, from via Milone to via A. Telesio;
  • VIA VETERANI DELLO SPORT, on both sides, including the entire area surrounding the municipal swimming pool structure.

The Service Manager, having consulted the Director of Public Order of the Cosenza Police Headquarters, may extend or modify the provisions of the ordinance on the basis of emerging and unforeseeable needs for public order, safety, changes in traffic flows and other contingencies.

The following alternative routes are recommended:

-Vehicles coming from or going to Castrolibero will be able to travel along Via degli Stadi;

-Vehicles heading to Rende will be able to travel along Via degli Stadi-Panebianco;

-Vehicles coming from Rende will be able to travel via G. Marconi-Via Degli Stadi;

-To reach the stadium, pedestrians will necessarily have to walk along Via degli Stadi.
