Michele Lacomino he is now ready for the most important event of his life. “The thought started spinning in my head when I bought my first bike in January 2021. On June 24th two years ago everything took shape: I realized that I was not tired, neither physically nor mentally after finishing the trip to Calabria, 8 days and an average of 170km per day”.
There I said to myself “I can make my dream come true and thus celebrate 40 years”.
Iacomino immediately began a long physical and mental preparation, made up of experiments, hours and hours spent on the bike and many sacrifices not only for himself, but also for his family, because to best prepare a trip like this, the collaboration of who is around you. “Every single day I was focused on understanding how to approach this great adventure in the best possible way. On 19 July 2024 I will leave Carpi to reach Rovereto di Trento, where the start of this great event is set. The official start of the race is scheduled for the day after July 20th North Cape 4000a non-competitive event with 350 participants from 42 countries around the world.
I will do this journey in a very free way, planning it along the way along the route with stages decided together with the team who will support me remotely and based on the many factors that arise.” As always, Michele Iacomino will keep friends and relatives informed via social media (instagram: Miaco84). Waiting for him at the North Cape after about 20 days will be his entire extended family who always supports him with great enthusiasm.”
