MOGLIANO VENETO – On Thursday 25 April, in the context of the traditional Coppa di San Marco – a promotional event dedicated to foil, saber and sword players under 10 – the qualifying tests for the role of Aspiring Referee of the GSA Veneto were held in Mogliano Veneto.
The long training journey began last October in Mareno di Piave with the course held by the members of the GSA commission Martina Ganassin and Furio Ginori and continued with the achievement of the training credits required at the fencing clubs of the Veneto and in the promotional competitions of the competitive season 2023/2024.
They obtained the qualification – receiving the certificate from Federal Councilor Guido Di Guida – Alberto Balasso, Zeno Borsoi, Cecilia Cavinato, Maria Beatrice Foggiato, Sofia Furlan, Bianca Majer, Lorenzo Nistri, Sofia Tambone, Zoe Zanini and Cristina Zilli.
The GSA Regional Delegate, Demetrio Raffa, expressed his satisfaction with the result achieved by the candidates while the best wishes for good work came from Martina Ganassin, member of the federal commission for refereeing and of the referee commission of the European Fencing Confederation ( EFC).
