Riccione station: new premises handed over for use to the Railway Police for services in the summer period
Today, April 19th, inside the Riccione train station, they were
the keys to the new premises which during the summer season will host the Railway Police officers engaged in surveillance and control services within the important Romagna railway station have been handed over.
The opening of the new premises is the result of a shared safety project
town which involved all the institutional actors present in the area and in particular the Railway Police Department for Emilia Romagna, the Rimini Railway Police Section, the Italian Railway Network and the Municipality of Riccione.
The new offices intended for Polfer will be operational in the coming months of July and
August when the Riccione airport will see a considerable increase in the number of travellers, whose safety will be guaranteed, as has been the case for several years now, by the women and men of the Railway Police, thanks to the usual reinforcements which, for the occasion, will be made available by the Railway Police Service of the Ministry of the Interior.

Railway Police Annarita Santantonio – “since users will finally find a suitable and welcoming Police Office and the staff will work in more suitable workplaces also in terms of healthiness and safety. For this reason I would like to thank, on behalf of the Railway Police, the Ferrovie dello Stato Group which, in accepting our requests, demonstrated its usual sensitivity to the needs of both security operators and users. I would like to express particular praise to Commissioner Laura Casonato, Director of the Rimini Railway Police Section, who has spent a lot of effort in following the implementation phases of this project which is coming to light today, thus closing her active service in the Police in the best possible way. of State which will end at the end of the current month of April. For this I truly thank you and I believe there cannot be a better way to be remembered and appreciated for what you have given over all these years.”
