Was presented this morning at Palazzo San Giorgio, la 10th edition of the cabaret festival “Bronze faces“, conceived and produced by the association “Calabria behind the scenes APS” with the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, the Municipality of Reggio Calabria, Roma Capitale II Municipio and Unicef Italia.
To illustrate the long-awaited event which is part of the “Cultural Activities 2022” PAC 2014-2020 notice of the Calabria Region, the organizational director of the festival and president of “Calabria behind the scenes” Giuseppe Mazzacuva, the comedian of the duo “I non ti regoli ” Giuseppe Scorza, the actor Gennaro Calabrese and the president of the city council Vincenzo Marra.
He claims Giuseppe Mazzacuva:
“This is an important edition and many female comedians will participate. They have been 10 long, intense years full of emotions and laughter. The synergy with the institutions, partners and the artistic director Alessio Tagliento was fundamental.”
The final on May 26th at the “Cilea” theater will therefore be conducted by the Calabrese impersonator from Reggio who will guide the nine comedians selected in various Italian cities (Faenza, Aversa, Samarate and Rome) in the last few months. Guests of the grand finale, Dado, Loris Fabiani winner of the IX edition of the Festival, Rocco Barbaro, Gigi Miseferi, the duo “I non ti regoli”.
In a video conference, Tagliento recalls the “beginnings of an event that today is highly appreciated on the national scene”.
But this year there will also be an edition of “Facce da bronzezi Pink” and it will be the turn of Giuseppe Scorzaat the Grandinetti theater in Lamezia Terme on Saturday 11 May together with Sabrina Pugliese, leading the 8 female competitors supported by the excellent comedians Chiara Anicito, Mariuccia Annata, Laura Magni, Federica Ferrero.
Zest adds:
“It will be an all-female evening and we also thought about doing a fundraiser for the Artemide anti-violence center of Lamezia Terme”.
The actor was visibly emotional Calabrian:
“Honoured and happy to host this edition where the female presence stands out which is, certainly, a touch of growth and hope”.
The President of the City Council Enzo Marra is enthusiastic and, after recalling the beginnings of the Festival, can only congratulate the “Calabria behind the scenes” team.
