ALEXANDRIA – La StrAlessandria 2024 this year it gives well two days of celebration in the city. There the race will take place on Sunday 12 May, in the morning, and it will be anticipated by a long time day of celebration at Carrà Park. Saturday 11 May, as early as 10 in the morning, you will find the solidarity banquets of associations and bodies that are alongside StrAlessandria and will begin at the same time agility relay and soccer tournament living for children and teenagers organized by the Terra di Pan association (scheduled until 12.30). It will then be held from 11am to 12pm Street Work Fit organized by the BLW association and at lunch time you can take a tasty break in the Fuga di Sapori stand. In the afternoon, starting from 2pm, the StrAlessandria festival at Parco Carrà offers many other activities, from skate lessons edited by the Skatefarm masters up to bike repair school of the Fiab. At 3pm the fun activities of the Land of Pan con also resume archery, tug of war, dodgeball in teams and handkerchief game. From 4pm to 5pm new Street Work Fit session and from 6.30pm, in the skate area, the skateboarding contest. Throughout the afternoon of Saturday, on the StrAlessandria stage, they will take turns talks and interventions linked to the protagonists and solidarity projects of the race and they will also start from 6pm shows and concerts. The first to go on stage will be male and female dancers from the Liceo Coreutico and Musical “Umberto Eco” of Alessandria. From 8.30pm, then, music with “Onze Band” and from 10.30pm with DJ Lo.
Then on Sunday 12 May we return to Carrà Park to run StrAlessandria. THEThe meeting is at 9.30 and the competitive teams will start at 10. About 15 minutes later the rest of the people of StrAlessandria will leave. The route also touches the “four urban regeneration objectives” of the solidarity race of Ics_Ets and the Municipality of Alessandria, which aims to make the Carrà Park, Piazza Santo Stefano, Piazza Marconi and the public gardens in front of the Alessandria station “more beautiful, lively and accessible” and already counts on the support of Egato6 to add in the 4 spaces there are drinking water fountains accessible to all, including animals. Egato6, in particular through the Ato6 Solidarity Committee, will also help to realize one of the two international cooperation projects of StrAlessandria 2024: the construction of a student house in Al Houz, one of the provinces of Morocco hit hard by the earthquake of September 2023. Born from the synergy created with the association Verso il Kurdistan Odv”, then, the third solidarity project of the race: the creation of a hospital in Boreklocated in the Shengal region, Nineveh governorate, northern Iraq.
As always, to support StrAlessandria’s solidarity projects, all you need to do is sign up. Registration for the StrAlessandria involves a contribution of 10 euros and this year will allow you to wear an exclusive race t-shirt with the logo created by ZeroCalcare. THE registration points they are at the Ics Ets headquarters in via Dossena 27 (from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 22 April also in the afternoon from 3pm to 6pm).
