In the hope that this event will clarify our educational offer, I would like to welcome our guests from secondary schools, the parents and teachers who will accompany them. ‘Creativity is contagious. Pass it on wrote Albert Einstein; and the task of our institution is this: to convey to the new generations how to be creative through the many professionalisms that we offer in our study plans and which include the sectors of Visual Arts, Comics and Illustration, Graphics, Decoration, Painting, Sculpture, Teaching and Communication of Art, Photography, Fashion and Costume, Restoration, Scenography.”

The various study courses offered by the Academy of Fine Arts aim to train artistic skills and qualified professionals who, taking into account the pluralism of languages and technological innovations, are able to broaden their individual research. In this way the student, accompanied by the professionalism and heterogeneity of the teaching staff, will be able to develop his own expressive autonomy.

The teaching activity has always been accompanied by an intense series of collateral cultural activities such as exhibitions, internships and workshops, with artists of national and international importance. The constant openness to the territory allows for continuous collaboration with the various training institutions that animate the city, such as the University, the Conservatory and the GSSI Gran Sasso Science Institute. Furthermore, thanks to numerous agreements established with some of the most important cultural entities in the area, and beyond, such as the MAXXI Museum and MUNDA, students will be able to gain direct experience in the field, participating in prominent artistic events.
