In the heart of the regional industrial area of Messina, a tragic accident has shaken the serenity of the neighborhood. Around 8pm last night, in Via Franza, a collision occurred between a car and a moped, with dramatic results for the young driver of the two-wheeled vehicle, a seventeen-year-old. The impact generated an emergency which required the immediate intervention of the authorities and rescuers.
The injured young man was urgently transported to the emergency room of the Messina Polyclinic, where he was classified in code red, although at the moment his life is not in danger. However, the injuries sustained require careful evaluation and specialized medical care.
Fortunately, the driver of the car suffered only minor injuries and was transported to Piedmont hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
The accident required the intervention of the Municipal Police, tasked with precisely reconstructing the dynamics of the accident. Investigations are underway to determine the causes and responsibilities of the collision.
