A value which, however, does not affect the next electoral round since the valid reference is the one set by General Census of 2021, on which date Casalmaggiore had 14,974 residentswhich allows the Municipality to fall within the group of centers with from 5 thousand to 15 inhabitants for which it will be possible to reach the third mandate for the Mayor.

In the ranking of the Cremonese municipalities by number of inhabitants we note: with over 5 thousand residentsCastelleone (9,240) and, almost on the same level, Pandino (8,865) and Soresina (8,847) which precede Rivolta d’Adda (8,220), Soncino (7,512), Spino d’Adda (6,902), Pizzighettone (6,262), Offanengo ( 5,967) and Castelverde, with 5,567 inhabitants.
