Left for Cremona, AVS and PSI for Andrea Virgilio Mayor
The Left list for Cremona Energia Civile – Alleanza Verdi Sinistra – Italian Socialist Party, which will support the mayoral candidate Andrea Virgilio, presented its proposal at the coalition’s electoral headquarters on the eve of Liberation Day.
At the beginning, Rosita Viola underlined that the Municipalities were the first institution elected after the twenty years of fascism, as a place for the resumption of free and democratic civil life.
In this regard, a concrete proposal stands out in the program, among the various initiatives aimed at consolidating memory and historical knowledge: a HOUSE OF RESISTANCE AND MEMORY; to be created in collaboration with associations and cultural entities, which is a permanent venue for promoting together the constitutional values of freedom, peace and solidarity.
The list was born from the meeting of political cultures and citizens who have social cohesion, care for people and the community as a common horizon.
The city, first of all, is a collection of people, from the comparison and coexistence between the most diverse sensitivities, needs and experiences, enrichment for all and greater social cohesion derives.

There are many projects and visions of the city that unite us, starting from themes such as the environment, active and sustainable mobility, the preparation of services and infrastructures for the birth and development of energy communities not only between public buildings but also between private individuals, job placement, a guaranteed minimum wage in public procurement salaries, the housing emergency and the redevelopment of the public housing stock, the expansion of the “30 zones”, pedestrian and restricted traffic zones, compensation environmental protection and care for greenery and the environment. Our challenge is in the perspective of growing our presence in the Council to strengthen our contribution to the coalition that supports Andrea Virgilio”.
