FIRST RACE AND FIRST VICTORY FOR THE KOVE 450 RALLY

AT THE ITALIAN MOTORALLY CHAMPIONSHIP KOVE WINS WITH FILIPPO PIETRI!

Riotorto (LI) Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April

The first two rounds of the FMI Italian Motorally Championship took place in Tuscany. Five KOVE 450 Rally were present at the opening of the Italian championship dedicated to navigation, all entered in the newly created FX category. Kove’s standard bearers in this double test were Filippo Pietri, Matteo Bottino, the Dakarian Cesare Zacchetti, Ambrogio Grillo and Gianni Carroccia. And it is precisely the strong Emilian rider Filippo Pietri of the Fast Team motoclub who sets the best time in the hotly contested FX class, thus gaining a historic first place in the first official race of the Kove 450 Rally at a national level ahead of Mancini’s Beta, 1 minute behind and 31 seconds. The other Kove 450 Rally present at the start all reached the finish line, confirming the great reliability of these vehicles; Bottino ended the day in fifth place, Zacchetti in eighth, Carroccia in eleventh and Grillo in twelfth position. The second day again sees the Kove 450 Rally of Filippo Pietri as protagonist, assisted by Solarys racing team, which finishes in second place behind the official Honda rider Giovanni Gritti in a race made treacherous by the muddy ground which forced the organizers to cancel some special tests.

The other drivers Kove Bottino, Zacchetti, Grillo finished in fourth, fifth and tenth place respectively. With a first and a second place Filippo Pietri on KOVE 450 Rally takes first place in the Italian Motorally cat championship. FX with 45 points ahead of Giovanni Gritti’s Honda stopped at 38 points. The next appointment with the Italian Motorally championship is scheduled for 29 and 30 June in Foligno (PG) where we will still be able to admire the KOVE 450 Rally in action.
