Monday 29 Aprilat 10.30 am, in the “Biagio Agnes” Press Room of the Fisciano campus, the signing of the Memorandum of understanding between the University of Salerno (UNISA) e the Joint Territorial Committee of the Province of Salerno (CPT Salerno). The agreement, which is part of the University’s actions regarding Health and Safety in the workplace, has the objective of implementing direct collaboration with qualified bodies to guarantee maximum safety on the construction sites of UNISA Campuses and promote safety culture among all workers.
Collaboration for safe construction sites
The CPT Salerno, a joint body that operates in the construction safety sector in the province of Salerno, will carry out inspections on the construction sites of the UNISA Campuses to verify compliance with safety regulations and improve working conditions. The collaboration between UNISA and CPT Salerno will materialize in a series of joint actions, including:
- Development of training and information programs on safety on construction sites: UNISA and CPT Salerno will organize training courses for construction site workers, with the aim of raising awareness of the risks and prevention measures to be adopted.
- Creation of awareness campaigns on safety on construction sites: Information campaigns will be carried out aimed at promoting the culture of safety among all professionals, from students to teachers, from technical-administrative staff to contracting companies.
- Promotion of good practices for safety on construction sites: UNISA and CPT Salerno are committed to promoting the adoption of good practices for safety on construction sites, through the dissemination of guidelines and the organization of meetings with sector experts.
The event will be held on World Day for Health and Safety at Work 2024, which is celebrated annually on 28 April.
