There ninth edition of the Borgate dal Vivo festivalborn in 2016 in Susa Valley by the association Revejo to reopen the small mountain schools in the villages, will come from 28 June to 31 August with over forty events in Piedmont.
THE FESTIVAL
The festival, this year characterized by the claim “A multiverse nobody” is a cultural project that aims to make the territory grow through culture: with a network of projects and collaborations, “Borgate live” is committed to enhancing the smallest and most isolated territories of Piedmont. Among the partners of the Festival there are also the Metropolitan City of Turin, the Piedmont Region, Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo and Fondazione Time: «The Region fully embraces the initiative of bringing culture even to those places considered more marginal – declared Vittoria Poggio, regional councilor for culture -. This festival enhances them, to make them enter a cultural fabric that dialogues. To be effective, the results must be shared among all the villages and territories of the Cuneo province, all territories that have so much to express. This is a festival that truly leaves no one behind and is a bridge between communities and Piedmontese excellence”.
GREAT GUESTS
Among the guests of this edition there will be Daniele Silvestri, who will perform at Bardonecchia on July 24th and Jack Savorettito theRoman amphitheater of Susa on June 28thit will be up to him to kick off this new edition of Borgate live. Among the guests of this edition appear Margherita Vicario, Francesco Pannofino, Mauro Pagani, Gio Evan, Rita Marcotulli, Fabrizio Bosso and Peppe Servillo, Gary Lucas, Amaro Freitas, Aldo Cazzullo and Moni Ovadia, Paolo Rumiz and Domenico Iannacone. Some of the programming will once again be hosted within the Forte di Exilles, and the concert at high altitude in Chesal will also returnabove Bardonecchia.
