Capodichino Airport is crowded from the early hours of the morning in anticipation of the 350 thousand passengers who will pass through the Neapolitan airport between 25 April and 1 May. The city has prepared for the massive arrival of tourists, strengthening public transport and police checks, establishing tutors and information points to assist visitors and installing numerous chemical toilets.
On the occasion of the long weekend of April 25th and May 1st, Naples is preparing to welcome a new wave of tourists. The Municipality has strengthened some of the main services to improve reception, transport and safety in the city. Between 24 April and 5 May, there will be tutors on duty every day from 10:00 to 19:00, with an increase of 6 units, for a total of 20. Some of these units will be located at the Central Station in piazza Garibaldi, and others in via Duomo and Monte Echia.
Furthermore, four info points will be operational every day from 10:00 to 19:00, located at the Angioino pier, in Piazza del Gesù, in via Cesario Console and in via Morghen. There will also be 7 mobile chemical toilets and 8 fixed toilets available in Piazza Trieste e Trento, open from 10:00 to 19:00, with hours extended until 1:00 in Piazza del Gesù.
