The Fabiano Antoniani Radical Association of Cremona, for years now among the driving forces of the radical political initiative in the area, is taking sides in the municipal elections and is nominating the secretary of the Association and former member of the management of Radicali Italiani Vittoria Costanza Loffi inside of of the Democratic Party list.
The choice to bring the radical experience gained outside the institutions and canonical party forms within the Democratic Party aims to reflect a continuity of profitable exchanges that have taken place for years on the most diverse themes: “One of the reasons that pushed us to this challenge is represented by the collaboration established with the Administration, but especially with the Democratic Party and the President of the city council Paolo Carletti about prison.
That city on the outskirts of the city which is, in fact, Ca’ del Ferro must continue to be at the center of
city policies as has been the case in recent years. We have repeatedly brought members of the institutions on inspection visits with us to experience first-hand the reality of Cremonese detention, but prison must also continue – as a theme – to enter the Council” states Loffi regarding his candidacy.
The President of the Association and municipal councilor of Crema also supported the candidacy Nancy Pederzani: “We are proud to present Vittoria Loffi as a candidate in support of Virgilio mayor. She is a competent young woman who has already demonstrated her ability to actively intercept the needs of the city. I think of the numerous demonstrations, banquets, signature collections, events in which Vittoria placed herself as a protagonist without forgetting to listen to people, even the most forgotten, such as the inmates of the Ca’ Del Ferro prison”.
“The choice to support Andrea Virgilio was natural” says the lawyer Luigi Camurri, co-founder of Radicali Cremona, “Andrea, in all these years, has been a friend and a precious traveling companion: he was with us when we founded our association and he was at our side in dozens of battles and initiatives, often not easy. We fully recognize ourselves in his rigorous approach to politics, in the secular, rational, non-ideological (“radical” we would dare say) method with which he relates to the problems of our city”.
The treasurer of the Association Vittorio Mascarini then he comments: “I would like to say a few words, in a personal capacity, about our candidate. I have never met someone who knew how to combine complex visions and analyzes with the effectiveness of daily political initiative with such grace. For us, administrative activity is not limited to the simple management of the bureaucratic machine, but represents one of the highest forms of politics, and these are the fundamental characteristics of Vittoria’s political action”.
“We thank thethe Democratic Party for understanding the importance of this political exchange of identity and different action traditions” says Loffi. “We can all emerge politically and administratively enriched from this experience, keeping in mind that the objective that unites us will always be the care of the city, for the present and the future”.
