MANY NEWS AT THE 85TH EDITION OF THE MODENA FAIR FROM ENGINES TO VINTAGE

The program of the 85th Modena Fair promises to be full of new features and this year too, alongside the commercial areas, it will offer a tribute to the history, culture, products and excellence of the area. Among the exhibition areas that will be set up until Sunday 28 April at the fairgrounds, Modena Motor Gallery – the passion stands out, an unprecedented space dedicated to the motor valley which unfolds through the display of rare historic cars and meetings with witnesses of the formidable history of motorsport along the Via Emilia. Over 50 events in six municipalities with the beating heart of the Astoria Theater in Fiorano Modenese, 197 short films in competition and thousands of participants expected. TERRAMARA, THE PARTY FOR THE PARK’S TWENTY YEARS KICKS OFF

The Terramara di Montale archaeological park turns twenty and for the occasion it dresses up and from Thursday 25 April offers the public new exciting installations to recall the Bronze Age and experiences of experimental archeology brought together in a festival, tastings of gourmet sandwiches and other surprises. The celebration of the twentieth birthday is concentrated on the long weekend of April 25th. Precisely on that day, the two rebuilt houses are renewed with a sound journey that enriches the visit with a sensorial experience. “What noise does a terramara make?” Visitors will discover this by entering homes and listening to the noises produced by the activities of their inhabitants and those of the surrounding environment. On the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April “Il Parco in festival” offers a two-day event dedicated to experimental archeology with demonstrations and workshops. THE JARNO IOTTI EXHIBITION ON LIGABUE OPENS IN CORREGGIO

An artist, or rather two. One behind the eye of the camera, the other immortalized by the lens in the fleetingness of the moment. This is how it was born All Areas – Luciano Ligabue, a photographic journey in 70 shots plus one, through which Jarno Iotti, a passionate and visionary photographer, recounts the Liga in the twenty years or more spent together “on and off a stage”.
