Riccardo Calafiori, one of the protagonists of Bologna’s exciting journey towards the Champions League, is the guest of the week on Bfc Week, the magazine of the rossoblù club. The defender, among other things, also returns to the last victory against Roma at the Olimpico which allowed Thiago Motta’s team to strengthen their current fourth place in the standings: “What did it mean to return to the Olimpico? Before the match I prepared well. Mentally it could have been almost negative, I could have suffered more. Apart from the first tense minutes I managed to play well and it was wonderful to play against my former teammates in my old stadium.”

3-1 against Roma at the Olimpico: on El Azzouzi’s first goal the assist is yours…
“He did 90% because the goal is beautiful and very important. With Roma we found the goal again and above all the third was fundamental to get out of a moment in which we were suffering a bit and bring the game home” .

Sunday’s match against Udinese, a team in the midst of a battle for survival which, however, should not be taken lightly
“There is no danger because we have never underestimated anyone, we always give our all. We need to take a small revenge against Udinese given the 3-0 in the first leg. We expect a different match compared to the one against Roma, against a team that will wait longer for us to then start again. It will be essential to stay focused from start to finish.”
