Today, Thursday 25 April, in Piazza Saffi, the Ceremony for the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation from Nazi-Fascism took place, in the presence of the Prefect of Forlì – Cesena, the Mayor of Forlì, the city authorities and the fighting and fighting associations. ‘Weapon.
The demonstration was accompanied by the “Città di Forlì” Band and a picket of the 66th “Trieste” Airmobile Infantry Regiment paid the honors.

At the end of the institutional ceremony, the awards were given to the winners of the “79th Anniversary of Liberation – 25 April 2024” competition aimed at schools and students.
In the afternoon, at the Franco Agosto Urban Park, starting from 3 pm the popular Liberation Festival will begin, organized in collaboration with ANPI Provincial Committee Forlì-Cesena, FIAP, Alpini Group section of Forlì and voluntary associations.
The “Città di Forlì” band concert will be held at 4.00 pm.
