After the opening with the shows of Enrico Brignano in Reggio e Stefano De Martino in Cosenza, the roster of live shows is taking shape “Music Facts 2024”the 38th edition of the Live d’Autore Award Festival conceived and directed by Ruggero Pegna. As is known, the format of the prestigious record-breaking festival, both for public attendance and for the quality and quantity of events, rewards with the Silver Hedgehog of the famous Crotone goldsmith Gerardo Sacco some of the most anticipated live shows based on various sections. As usual, it involves taking place throughout the entire year, in winter and summer sessions, and in numerous locations of the Calabria which vary in each edition, chosen for their cultural and landscape assets, the suitability of theaters and spaces and the synergy with the various Municipalities.
The first of Maythe meeting is in Piazza della Resistenza Praia a Mare with the concert of Ron with free entry. The great singer-songwriter will also be the June 23 at the Abbey Theatre San Giovanni in FioreThe June 28 in Cathedral Square Lamezia Terme and August 5th Capo Rizzuto Islandall with free entry and curated by their respective owners Municipal Administrations.
The May 25th in the Grandinetti Municipal Theater of Lamezia Terme there will be a concert by Louis Strangisthe talent from Lamezia who won “Amici”, already sold out for months.
The July 24th one of the historic and unrepeatable events in Calabria: the exceptional live performance of the Pink Floyd of the legendary founder and musician of the legendary British band, Nick Masonaccompanied by a super band composed of Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet), Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd), Lee Harris (Blockheads), Dom Beken (Transit Kings). The extraordinary concert, in line with other prestigious exclusive precedents of the Festival, from Sting to Tina Turner to Elton John, has the patronage of Presidency of the Calabria Region.
August 3rd we will move to Reggio Calabria for the live performance of Iramahighly anticipated by audiences not only young people in the splendid setting of Aragonese Castle Square. Same magical location August 9th for the live show full of special effects Gabry Pontethe king of world dance.
L’ August 8 Dargen D’Amico he will be at Isola Capo Rizzuto with his successes, the best of eleven albums published, among which the latest Sanremo dance hits stand out.
From 12th to 14th Augustthe caravan of Music Facts will move to the Port of Catanzaro Lido for three free-entry live performances included in the Flavor of the Sea Festival: respectively Los Reyes by Gipsy King, Nino Frassica and Los Plaggers Band, Max Gazzè and Calabria Orchestra.
Music Facts 2024 will end with a rich autumn/winter session: Grease the Musical 23, 24 November at the Politeama Theater in Catanzaro And 25, 26 November at the Cilea Theater in Reggio Calabriathe return of Stefano De Martino at the Politeama Theater in Catanzaro on December 6 and, finally, in the same Politeama from 19th to 22nd December the show Alisthe spectacular Le Cirque Top Performers Grand Gala with stars of Le Cirque du Soleil.
