PARMA (ITALPRESS) – Web and minors: what are the risks? It will be discussed at the event “Rights on the web – Rights and protection of children in the digital world”, promoted by the Gazzetta di Parma. The initiative will be held in Parma on Thursday 30 May at the Paganini auditorium and will continue, from morning to afternoon, throughout the day with a succession of big names and famous experts who will discuss the topic. On the Paganini stage, various personalities and authoritative voices of our time will express themselves, protagonists of the institutional, academic, entrepreneurial, sporting world and also of the world of communication (among many, Ansa media partner of the event, Mediaset, Rai, Meta, Google ). Among the great guests there will also be the Minister of Education Giuseppe Valditara, who will focus on the theme “Institutions, law and responsibility: actions for the protection of
minors”. The initiative was born from the need to delve deeper into an urgent and contemporary topic: the protection of minors on the web. A theme that immediately brought together the sensitivity of the Gazzetta di Parma with that of the expert Ruben Razzante, scientific director of the project, professor of Information Law at the Catholic University of Milan. TV, telephones and computers are open doors to an infinite number of contents and opportunities that can generate serious difficulties and problems if these tools are in the hands of children and minors without instructions for use. Attention deficit, cyberbullying, enticement, misinformation, isolation and frustration are some of the consequences that uncontrolled use of the internet can generate on minors. During the congress we will therefore talk about the rights – of our children to be protected and protected – and the duties – those of the institutions, of the players in the digital world, of companies and of the family who must contribute to protection and a correct communication approach and educational.(ITALPRESS).
