She fell from the balcony of a house, was rescued with minor injuries and was admitted to hospital

A 60-year-old Romanian carer fell from the terrace of an apartment on the second floor of a building in Viale dello Stadio in Terni, where she had been locked up by some compatriots to soothe her from a hangover.
In all likelihood he was trying to get out of the house by lowering himself down the gutter, then the fall.
The woman fell from a height of approximately eight meters and was “rescued” by those used to dry the clothes hanging in front of the windows.
The woman was immediately helped by some passers-by and taken to hospital in an ambulance where doctors found a high level of alcohol in her blood and a suspected broken leg.

Two police patrols were on site and started investigations to understand what had happened in that house.
According to an initial reconstruction, the woman had arrived in Terni a few days ago to work as a carer for an elderly woman from Terni who lives in via Leopardi, in the meantime, she was a guest in a house rented by the employer, also Romanian, who manages a cooperative for some time.

On Tuesday evening the sixty-year-old was carrying out her work shift, assisting a ninety-year-old, but she apparently abused alcohol found in the kitchen so much that she was no longer able to carry out her duties because she was in a clear state of psycho-physical alteration. The granddaughter of the elderly woman from Terni, worried about her, called the Romanian woman who had acted as her go-between and who had assigned her as her carer, asking her to remove the drunk woman.

The police investigations will have to ascertain what happened in the following two hours, with the sixty-year-old probably taken by several people to the house in Viale dello Stadio and effectively locked inside to sober up.

The Romanian was hospitalized for observation at Santa Maria and will soon be questioned to listen to her version, above all to verify whether there was someone who locked her up in that house without her will, which could lead the Prosecutor’s Office to hypothesize the crime of kidnapping.

But the investigators will also ascertain the type of working relationship that existed between the manager of the cooperative based in Terni and the sixty-year-old and what type of contract was in progress with the Terni cooperative which has as its objective precisely that of finding carers for families who request it.
