The Campo della Gloria at the Monumental Cemetery of Turin

TURIN – It ends with the story of Campo della Gloria at the Monumental Cemetery of Turin the project created by Stefano Di Polito for April 25, 2024, which began 20 days ago with the Martinetto massacre.

The videos were made in twenty symbolic places for the Resistance in Turin and are published on the Tellingstones app in an itinerary to discover the places where the main episodes of the Liberation took place.

At the Campo della Gloria in the Monumental Cemetery of Turin, built on 21 May 1945, there are the remains of 1126 fallen during the Resistance.

Among the twenty places are the Casa Gobetti, Palazzo Campana, the Albergo Nazionale, the Alessandro La Marmora Barracks, the Carceri Nuove, the House of Dante Di Nanni, the Martinetto shooting range, the Monumental Cemetery, the FIAT Grandi Motori workshops, the Diffuse Museum of the Resistance.

Each video contains a description of the events by a young popularizer Luca Zanotta, a historical researcher who is very skilled at enthralling the public in a minute and a half about the history of the Resistance.
