In recent days, the Turin court accepted Codacons’ appeal regarding the Balocco pandoros advertised by Chiara Ferragni. Now consumer associations are ready to ask for compensation. In addition to Carlo Rienzi’s association, there are Adusbef and the Association of Radio and Television Services Users in line. However, collective action will be necessary for the 290 thousand consumers. They will thus be able to receive a refund of 5.69 euros, equal to the difference between the cost of the traditional product and the designer one. A press conference of the three associations is scheduled for today.

The associations

Consumers have already turned to Balocco. Asking to recover “the humanity necessary to make a gesture of fairness and generosity, spontaneously donating to children suffering from cancer a sum equal to that collected with pandoro” in a deceptive way, equal to approximately 1.6 million euros. The same request is recalled today by the Turin edition of Republichad been advanced in civil court. However, the court did not accept it.
