Lamezia, three days of training and orientation to the world of work at Polo Rambaldi

Lamezia Terme – Investing in and strengthening the relationship between the world of school and the world of work, creating opportunities for connection and opportunities for mutual exchange of knowledge are among the objectives of the three days promoted by the “Carlo Rambaldi” Technology Center, as part of the activities of information and orientation training for all the third and fourth classes of the institute. After the greetings of the school director Anna Primavera, who underlined the importance of “orienting young people to search for their talents and to continue the orientation activity in the post-diploma phase”, the director of the Calabria Region labor department Cosimo Cuomo illustrated the opportunities put in place by the Calabria Region which “through the 15 Employment Centers has profiled around 100 thousand workers available for work and companies, through the employment centres, can draw on this database”. Cuomo also recalled the benefits for young people who choose to invest in self-entrepreneurship, recalling the need “to search for the right information and know how to use it, to find and create work”. The person in charge of the Lamezia Terme Employment Center Vincenzo Canonaco recalled the orientation activity carried out for young people, in the various stages of transition from diploma to university and subsequently towards entry into the world of work.

Over the three days, the employment center operators Claudio Cavaliere, Michelle Ferrise, Rosaria Gallo, Maria Donato, Raffaele Bascerano, Annalisa Cefaly, Manuela Torcasio, Patrizia Pontieri, Rachele Medici, as well as Paola Iaria for Sviluppo Lavoro took turns: all, in their speeches, illustrated the approach to the world of work, the emerging professional sectors, the creation of the curriculum, the job search methods, the methodologies for orienting oneself in the training request, the training courses, the Educational Institutes Superiore Academy, evaluations and statistical investigations. The meetings were particularly effective and aroused considerable interest, participation and curiosity in the Institute’s students, combining the approach to the world of work with sustainability and social responsibility.
