Futsal Cesena and the Panathlon Club Cesena (of which he was a member) do not forget Paolo Paganelli among the pioneers of 5-a-side football in the city and a long-time collaborator of the Bianconeri, who passed away on 28 January 2023 at just 58 years old. So today from 3pm to 6pm the second edition of the Paolo Paganelli Memorial will be played, in the presence of his family, right in the building that has long been home to Futsal, named after him a year ago by the Municipal Administration. Obviously Futsal Cesena will be on the pitch, having saved themselves in A2 Elite two days early and next Saturday will conclude an extremely positive championship (where the survival objective was respected) by hosting Cus Molise who are now in the play-outs.
Futsal will compete in a triangular match against the teams of Rimini (series C1) and Città del Rubicone (series C2). Osimani’s Bianconeri (confirmed until June 2025 and also the central point of next season’s project) are fresh from the daring away victory (4-5) at Itria and will want to win this event too, after having won the first edition , to best remember one of them.
