MODENA. In the first two months of 2024, accidents in the Modena workplace increased by 19%.
A decidedly worrying growth, as well the increase in accidents at work which strictly concern the construction sector, which marks a +10% for 2023 compared to the previous year. Numbers that emerged last Friday during the Fillea festival, the acronym of the construction sector of the CGIL of Modena.
An initiative whose main objective was to discuss the future of a sector which has 20 thousand employees in the province. In particular, the Construction Fund registers 12,500 workers in Modena – of which 70% come from non-European countries – and two thousand companies, marking the record figure of 119 million in wages for 2023.
