Tension over the demonstrations of April 25th. In Rome as in Milan, clashes between the Jewish community and pro-Palestinian demonstrators are feared. Partisans, unions and opposition leaders in the Lombardy capital with Antonio Scurati and in Rome with Roberto Salis. The Interior Ministry is on very high alert for possible violent protests. From North to South, processions of initiatives are planned to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Liberation from Nazi-Fascism.
TO Riminion the occasion of the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation of Italy from the fascist regime and Nazi occupation, at 9.45 – in Piazzale Roma, at Parco Cervi – the ceremony for the laying of the wreath at the monument of the Resistance is scheduled: the authorities, the partisan, combat and army delegations, students and citizens will meet. The procession will then start from there and end in Piazza Cavour, where the mayor of Rimini will speak Jamil Sadegholvaad And Silvia ZoliPresident of Anpi Rimini.
At 9.30 am – at the Piazzale cinema Settebello, in via Roma – the start of “Rimininbici”, the ecological ride organized by the Dopolavoro FF.SS. and by the Volunteer Ecological Guards, arriving at 11 am in Piazza Cavour.
In the afternoon, at 2.00 pm, the initiative will also take place organized by Anpi Rimini of placing flowers on plaques in streets and squares dedicated to partisans and anti-fascists. Two other events are also planned, one of which will take place at 5pm this afternoon Municipal Film Libraryentitled “A song for the Resistance”, with the music of Sara Jane Ghiotti from San Marino, Giulia Lazzarini And Elisa Lazzarini. Event followed by the presentation of the volume “A history of women’s rights”, by Alessandra Facchi and Orsetta Giolo.
