The Cantieri dell’Immaginario will speak “the language of emotions”


L’AQUILA – 34 events for 25 days of shows. ‘The Construction Sites of the Imaginary’ are back, from 8 July to 6 August between the steps of San Bernardino and the Auditorium of the Park plus the two extra moenia events in Campotosto and Villa Sant’Angelo, to pay homage to the centers most affected by the earthquake of 2009 beyond the capital.

The event, organized in collaboration with local cultural bodies financed by the National Fund for Live Entertainment, was presented yesterday at a press conference.

Protagonists, the Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo, the Società Aquilana dei Concerti ‘Bonaventura Barattelli’, the Emotion Group, the Teatro dei 99, I Solisti Aquilani, the Abruzzo Symphonic Institution, Teatro Zeta, the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila and the ‘Alfredo Casella’ Conservatory of Music, coordinated by the Tsa coordination.

Many national names will enliven the L’Aquila evenings dedicated to the ‘Cantieri’, including: Simone Cristicchi and Amara, Max Angioni, Francesco De Gregori, Il Banco del Mutu Socco, Edoardo Bennato, Antonella Ruggieri, Giusy Ferreri, Flavio Insinna, Cristiano De André, Mimmo Locasciulli, Fabrizio Moro, Gabriele Cirilli, Francesco Renga and Nek, Dargen d’Amico.

Illustrating the poster were the mayor of L’Aquila, Pierluigi Biondi, the president and director of the TSA, Pietrangelo Buttafuoco and Giorgio Pasotti respectively, and the artistic director of the event, Leonardo De Amicis.

Also present were the representatives of the bodies, institutions and cultural associations of L’Aquila, the actor Flavio Insinna and the vice-president of the National Deaf Organization of L’Aquila, Bruno Angelone

“For the third consecutive year – declared Mayor Biondi – the Cantieri are hosting a show in sign language, created in collaboration with the National Deaf Association, but also ‘From the bars to the stars’ taken from the book of the same name on the theme of goods confiscated from the Camorra, with the participation of Flavio Insinna, already staged in the Rebibbia prison. A review, therefore, in the name of inclusiveness and social theater in the perspective of the year dedicated to the Capital of Culture”.
