Reggio Emilia, 25 April 2024 – They will be Maurizio Landini, Romano Prodi And Stefano Bonaccini the big names who will present themselves in the large park this year Deer House to Gattaticoto celebrate the Liberation Day of the 25 April. Prodi, former president of the European Commission, twice president of the Council of Ministers, Maurizio Landini, general secretary of the CGIL, and Stefano Bonaccini, president of the Emilia-Romagna region, will be guests of Albertina Solianipresident of the Cervi institute and former senator.
The party he wants to have an international character has as its theme: ‘The Liberation of the future: a future of peace, of freedom, against all conflict, against all war’. The party is open continuously from 10am to 8pm, animated by many other guests, events and entertainment even for children. Last year they were peacefully invaded the red fields of the Cervi farm, by an immense crowd of 15 thousand people, arriving from all over Italy, expected again this year. Also for this reason, local police and law enforcement agencies are on the field, the entrances are counted must not exceed 15 thousand units.
Entrance on the day is free and the party will take place even in case of bad weather, which could arrive late in the afternoon. Maurizio Landini will also take the opportunity to affix the own signature to the referendums on work proposed by the CGIL, which aim to question a good part of the reforms that have occurred over the last twenty years, in particular since Jobs Act on.
Food stands with fried dumplings, cured meats, pasta and typical products operate throughout the day, while the sale of spirits is prohibited. The organizers’ wish is that this April 25th will be for a bigger, more welcoming, reachable and sustainable world.

From 10 to 11.30, the party for kids with ‘The Globe‘: living at home in Cervi, a place where I feel good (Registration recommended: [email protected] / 0522 678356); from 11.45/12.30 in the Teaching Room of Casa Cervi outdoor readings; from 12.30pm to 4pm (two performances) in the Cervi vineyard, puppet show by the Sarzi Family Foundation; at 11am, in the Genoeffa Cocconi room, video screening: Otello and Lucia Sarzi, the Resistance and the darkness (Sarzi Family Foundation); at 12 the graphic novel presentation on the partisan Germano Nicolini ‘It was worth it, the life of Commander Diavolo’, Ottocervo, 2023, in the presence of the authors and of the Nicolini family; on stage, at 3pm, in addition to Soliani, Romano Prodi, Maurizio Landini and Stefano Bonaccinithey intervene Giorgio Zanni (President of the Province), Luca Vecchi (Mayor of Reggio), at 5.15 pm, follow Giglio Mazzi (partisan), Gulala Salih (Kurdish activist), Luisa Morgantini (Europe for Peace), Mauro Sarzi (son of Othello), Emma Ruzzon (president of the Student Council/University of Padua).
The Museum can be visited throughout the day of the festival and in the second barn of the museum they are on display 25 posters for 25 medals: brief review of posters and medals from April 25th at Casa Cervi. The party can be followed in live streaming from the institute’s channels. Shuttles are provided from the Sant’Ilario d’Enza station.
