The journalist and former footballer spoke about the issues of the day in Maracanà on TMW Radio in the afternoon Stefano Impallomeni.
Have you heard from Inzaghi about his wishes for the Scudetto?
“I wrote to him and told him to think about foreign offers (laughs, ed.). He is highly esteemed in the Premier League, but for me he obviously remains at Inter.”
Lazio wins but Juventus saves themselves with Milik and goes to the final.
“It was very tiring to see it. I saw a very bad Juventus, who managed to get through, and a Lazio who could have dared more. After the 2-0 I didn’t really understand Tudor’s reading of the match. “It’s quite a puzzle. Lopetegui doesn’t convince me, Sarri is a personality coach, very sincere, but he’s difficult to manage. We know Conte, Fonseca is the surprise.”

“No, I would see Thiago Motta well. Liedholm style, then Milan fans are used to seeing the team play well. Thiago Motta could make everyone agree. But is he already promised to Juventus? Maybe yes, but you have to fit in. I saw a very determined Furlani and I expect Milan to relaunch in an important way. You have to do little, more in defence.”
And the other benches?
“For me, Guardiola will signal De Zerbi and Inzaghi to City.”
What if Motta stayed in Bologna?
“I rule it out. It would be something sensational. He is the man of the moment and everyone is wondering where he will go. It would be a romantic and beautiful story but also a great risk for him. It is the moment in which he has to take flight. There comes a moment of career in which you have to know how to grow, as Simone Inzaghi did.”
