The event against gender violence “I don’t stay in the dark” was held on Sunday 21 April at the Fantiscrive Museum Cava

The event born in collaboration between Cava Museo Fantiscrive, Bookcrossing Massa and Feisctsaw the inauguration of a work in red French marble, a shoe, sculpted by the sculptor Gabriele Ramella who donated it to the museum and is located near the statue of Stella, the woman who remembers all the women of the marble quarries .

The work has the title “Silent Ways – the silent steps of women” and wants to remember all those who lived in the obscurantism of the pre-sixties period, in the difficult and inaccessible places of the Apuan Alps, far from civilization and the social context, dedicated to the care of the family and in silence.

The event was presented by Francesca Bianchi, Feisct Ambassador and Francesca Menconi for CIF Carrara and Cataldo Scavuzzo for PUR Responsible Men Project were present.

The young Viola Della Pina, Laura Delpino together with Walter Danesi and the journalist Angela Maria Fruzzetti gave their literary contribution.

The Associations Insieme President Daniele Tarantino and Eventi sul Frigido President Sara Chiara Strenta supported the initiative.

From today it is therefore possible to visit Walter Danesi’s Quarry Museum and admire the sculptural work dedicated to women.
