The important collaboration agreement will be signed between the municipalities of Gessopalena, Casoli, Montenerodomo and the Popoli Terme Agency for the promotion of sustainable tourism.
Sustainable tourism, well-being education and Abruzzo agri-food excellence are the key words of the event “Abruzzo Region of Well-being and valorisation of local food and wine products” which will be held Saturday 27 April at 6.00 pm, in the council room of the Municipality of Gessopalena (Piazzale Marino Turchi).

The initiative will see at its center the signing of the Collaboration Pact between some municipalities of the Chieti area such as Gessopalena, Casoli and Montenerodomo and the Agency for the promotion of sustainable tourism Popoli Terme (APTS) which, as per the latest Financial Law approved by the Abruzzo Region , is delegated (together with Arta) to the implementation of the “Region of Parks and Wellbeing” program.
The APTS, therefore, will play a role of primary importance in promoting Abruzzo on a national and international level, in a framework of collaboration already started with associations, institutions and municipalities of the Region. There are many municipalities in Abruzzo that are working with the APTS to exchange ideas and projects in the tourism, spa and agri-food sectors. The event on Saturday 27 April will therefore be an opportunity to sign and present the synergistic initiatives of Gessopalena, Casoli and Montenerodomo and the APTS, placing the theme of education for well-being which includes environment, lifestyle and culture at the centre. , correct nutrition and the theme of tourism promotion of these places. During the initiative there will also be a reflection on the agri-food excellence of Abruzzo and, at the end, a tasting of Petralucente wines will be held by the deputy mayor and councilor for agriculture of the municipality of Gessopalena, Giuseppe Tiberini.
