Prisoner escaped from Castrogno: the three accomplices go to trial – Teramo

TERAMO. The three alleged accomplices of the Albanian prisoner who escaped from Castrogno prison last September – and who has not yet been found – are going to trial with the immediate judgment requested by the prosecutor Davide Rosati. The hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
It’s about Florentina Camelia Paunescu27 year old Romanian, companion of the escaped prisoner and the two Albanian citizens Migel Gubari Olivieri And Admir Taraj. The woman is imprisoned in the Teramo penitentiary, the other two in that of Ascoli. All are accused of attempted escape. They are likely to request alternative rites. The three were arrested in March following the same number of precautionary custody orders signed by the investigating judge Roberto Veneziano. According to the prosecution, they helped the 39-year-old Albanian escape Roland Dedaj, detained for issues related to drug dealing, and then they would cover him up in the following days. Thirteen years ago the man had already escaped from another prison, in this case Pisa, by lowering himself with a sheet.
In Teramo he did it with a harness and a rock climbing rope purchased by his partner on the internet and then delivered by the other two accomplices using a sort of guide wire sent from outside. The man was detained on the third floor of the building in a cell where he was alone at the time. He would have cut the bars of the bathroom window of the cell using the so-called “angel hair”, i.e. diamond wires used specifically to cut iron and results also purchased online by his partner. The man opened a very small gap through which he managed to pass by lowering himself for over 15 meters with the rope to the outside where the two accomplices were waiting for him in a car. «Paunescu», we read in the request for immediate judgment, «purchased on the Amazon platform using a credit card the material used for the escape (anti-fall harness, flexible and rigid diamond wires, bow saw) and procured the mobile phone which was subsequently delivered to Roland Dedaj and used by him for the escape”. Again according to the Public Prosecution «Olivieri and Tara j physically delivered to Roland Dedaj (via a guide wire that was connected inside the escapee’s cell) all the aforementioned material, contained inside a backpack, providing logistical support and the collaboration on site for the escape ensuring Roland Dedaj’s definitive escape from prison through the use of two cars”. The woman is assisted by a lawyer Maurizio Cacaciwhile the other two by lawyers Alessandro Ciarrocchi, Roberta Costantini And Simone Moriconi.
