Imperia Police Headquarters – The Police Inspector entered Imperia on 1 October 2021, therefore after more than two and a half years he assumes the same function in Trapani.
Years of important operations were carried out by the Flying Squad and the investigative sections of the police stations of Sanremo and Ventimiglia, with huge seizures of narcotic substances and the dismantling of criminal gangs dedicated to the sale of drugs and the commission of crimes against property.
Being a border province, the fight against illegal immigration was important, strong impetus was given to the applications of expulsion measures with the accompaniment of irregular migrants in CPRs. Furthermore, the rejections of irregular migrants from France to Italy have been reduced, allowing the presence of irregular migrants in the Ventimiglia area to reach historic lows, at the numerical levels before 2015.
