04/24/2024 VICENZA – Fidas Vicenza Assembly. An opportunity to take stock of blood donations over the last year and to examine future challenges, primarily those aimed at young people || A fifth of blood donors in the province of Vicenza are under 30 years old. A fact that makes us reflect on the interest of young people and the generosity that they are able to demonstrate concretely, extending their arm, but on which the objective of Fidas Vicenza, today gathered in the Provincial Assembly, is to continue working: come on social network of the association, to the activity of promoting blood donation in Vicenza schools. Assembly which was an opportunity to take stock of the donations of the past year which recorded a positive trend. Numbers and difficulties of donors who find themselves having to deal with problems such as the shortage of transfusion doctors, but also with challenges and objectives that Fidas is preparing to face for 2024: from the organization of the event for World Donor Day 14 June, to participate in the Vicenza gathering in which there will be around thirty donors – Alpini who will parade with the Fidas/Ana banner and around a hundred volunteers who will take turns over the three days at the fixed gazebo.
