The works for the future school center of Cuneo, which will host the Grandis and the Ipsia, they proceed at a great pace and in line with the timetable. The photos were taken last Sunday April 21st.
As you can see, the walls and pillars of the basement have been completed. The preparatory carpentry work for the casting of the first floor has begun and the prefabricated pillars of the gym have been laid. The facilities are expected to be completed by the summer. Then the external infills and the construction of the systems will begin
The school is located in the area of the Cuneo District Authority, which was demolished last November. The work is carried out by the group consisting of Editel spa of Nucetto, agent, and MIT srl of Nichelino, principal.
The total cost of the work, updated to the price list of July 2022, is equal to €19,427,265.80 of which €15,928,537.09 is based on the tender (including safety charges amounting to €256,227.02) and €3,498,728.71 available to the administration.
The designer of the intervention is the temporary grouping between Studio Kuadra with Eutecne SRL EP&S SCARL- Consorzio stable, CSPE SRL and ing. Andrea Breida. The deadline for carrying out the works is 730 days, therefore within the first months of 2026.
The new school center will host 1,080 students – those from Grandis and Ipsia -; it will have 40 classrooms, five teaching terraces, 17 laboratories, an auditorium, a gym with two fields, a lecture hall and a viewing area with steps.
