MILAN – New update regarding covid in Lombardy, the situation remains characterized by low incidence, as regards new cases and hospitalizations.
Here’s the picture over the two weeks.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of positive cases has been reached in the area (+145 weekly cases, in the previous weeks the growth had been 210 cases) while the number of recoveries has reached 4,291,836 (+155). There are currently 263 positive people in Lombardy (279 previous week).
As regards deaths, the number reached 47,898 (+6, there had been 5 in the previous two weeks). There are 39 people hospitalized (-3), of which 1 is in intensive care (0 the previous week).
Since the beginning of the pandemic we have always disseminated data relating to contagion provided by official sources. The Lombardy Region releases a weekly bulletin with the data relating to the new positives emerging from the processing of swabs. Only those who test positive for the first time are counted. We report the total since the beginning of the pandemic and the weekly variation. Other data is provided by the mayors who have the data provided by the ATS available in the dashboard dedicated to them. In this case, in addition to the positives, there are also deaths, recoveries and in some cases the age group.
