PORDENONE – Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the dark and cold precisely in the days of the forceful return of winter for an almost immediate stop of the electricity: not for arrears, but for one alleged request of the unfortunate woman who, in truth, never asked for the power to be cut off, nor responded to calls or proposals that could later prove fraudulent. This is what happened between Saturday and Monday seventy years old Cristiana Cirielli from Pordenone, who, drawing on her well-known energy, is among other things a member of the board of directors of the «Le donne del vino» association and of the «Ville Venete» association, bombarded the supplier with phone calls and also went to the Carabinieri to report the incident as an “interruption of public service”. The fact is that, as Adoc also reconstructs, with an email in the early afternoon of Saturday the energy company informed her that it had accepted her request for turning off electricity and gas. And that this would happen within seven working days. The lady thought it was a mistakepromising to call the supplier on Monday for clarification. Instead, 7 hours later, around midnight, the light really went out and with it the possibility of heating, because the gas boiler needs electricity to work as well as the fireplace fan. “They don’t even turn off the electricity so quickly for people who are in arrears”, considers the woman from Pordenone, almost still in disbelief, who on Sunday morning, a public holiday, with all the offices closed, spent two hours in vain on her cell phone with the operators of the toll-free number, who not only they didn’t give her any explanations about what had happened, but they also told her that it would take about 5 days for the electricity to be reconnected. Desperate, with her husband suffering from heart disease, she called Adoc who, despite the public holiday, managed through the availability of a company representative to quickly have the case taken into consideration and to block the deactivation of the gas in the meantime.
THE COMPLAINT
On Monday, however, the lady had to go to a shop to sign a contract to take over her own supply, paying the related cost. Faced with the uncertainty and the many inconveniences she suffered, certainly not due to any lack of her own, with the prospect of spending further days without electricity, the woman went to the Carabinieri and filed a complaint for interruption of public service and for the possibility of replacement of person. You reserve the right to request compensation for damages. Late on Monday afternoon, an operator of the company informed Adoc that the light in the house in Vallenoncello was about to be reactivated, which happened, and that the company, in addition to reimbursing the takeover costs, will clarify what happened was brief. «I absolutely want to know how such an unfortunate event could have happened, Cirielli now reiterates -.
