the AIS course was a success

A new lesson of the First Level Sommelier course, organized by the Italian Sommelier Association (Ais), took place yesterday (22 April) at the Hotel Nettuno in Brindisi.

The event was attended not only by operators in the sector, but also by doctors, school managers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, accountants and engineers.

Doing the honors were Doctor Rocco Caliandro, Ais Brindisi delegate, and Knight Antonio Giaimis, former Lieutenant of the Carabinieri, promoter of the course.

The course, lasting two months, includes 15 theoretical and practical lessons, focused on knowledge and tasting of wines. Students will have the opportunity to deepen their skills on the different varieties of wine, learning to recognize their organoleptic characteristics, origin and production techniques. Thanks to the experience of the teachers, participants are expected to acquire a solid base of skills in the world of oenology and wine service.
