Annamaria Buono elected president of the Auser Time Bank of Legnano

LEGNANO – The Auser Insieme Time Bank of Legnano has a new president: è Annamaria Buonoelected unanimously by the assembly after the resignation of Aldo Guenzani (in the picture). In 27 years of activity of the association, it is the second time that a woman has become president after the founder Monica Ciardiello.

Buono is a mathematics and science teacher at the Legnano Comprehensive Institute in Via dei Salici, former councilor of the Oltre Stazione territorial council, member for twenty years of the Time Bank, supporter of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation and Pink Ambassador, registered with Amnesty International and Anpi. The assembly also elected some new members of the board of directors, which is now also made up of Attilia Novellini (vice president), Miranda Re Depaolini (secretary), Elizabeth BiancardiMonica Ciardiello, Angelo Colombo, Anjana Rathore, Giuseppina Solla, Lucilla Beniani, Daria Guerrini And Maurizio Maniscalcothe latter three newly appointed.

The activity carried out in 2023 was intense and illustrated by the outgoing president who received, in addition to the appreciation of those present, the thanks of Maria Cristina Dellavedova, manager of Auser Ticino Olona. The latter underlined the considerable effort spent to make the Time Bank, which matters, increasingly open and rich in human capital 62 members (of which 53 women)462 hours exchanged plus 56 dedicated to care of the small park in via Rossini in Legnano following a collaboration agreement with the Municipality and 39 initiatives including courses/activities managed by members, creative workshops for children, events dedicated to women, promotional banquets, trips/exhibitions.

The Auser Insieme Time Bank of Legnano Aps Ets has its operational headquarters in via Abruzzi 29 (email [email protected]). Being an “account holder” of the Time Bank is a precious experience, it serves to enhance one’s talents, participate in a solidarity economy process, count on friendship and help in a dimension of equality and reciprocity.
