In the moments before the podium of the GP of You love me won by Lando Norris English journalists interviewed McLaren team principal Andrea Stella. Andrew Starinterviewed while walking along the pit lane stated: “Many firsts today, but the most important is Lando’s because he really deserved it very much and we always said that as soon as we gave him the right material he would do it. My thoughts are also with the men and women of the team because I know that kind of work is behind this result and it’s really well deserved for the whole team. I hope they are enjoying this result. I want to dedicate the victory to Gil De Ferran“.
The Italian then concluded his speech by saying: “We knew the car was fast. It’s a bit of a surprise but we take it positively and will also take it into consideration for the future obviously.”
