The calendar curiously puts Poviglio (RE) at the center of the commitments of the Piacenza Baseball youth teams. Last Sunday the U14 suffered a 13-4 defeat on the Reggio Emilia diamond and in practice never managed to take the measure of the home team. At 2-2 the Piacenza team collapsed in Poviglio’s third attack and with 5 points they took off without being caught again. Also in Poviglio is the U18, tomorrow Wednesday, looking for confirmation after the great success on their debut against Crocetta Parma. A difficult test but hopefully not prohibitive against what is considered the favorite to win the group.
