Descriptive text here

We are close to Liberation Day, April 25th. The Municipality of Pesaro celebrates the 79th anniversary with a program which tomorrow, at 9.15am, includes a mass in memory of those who died for freedom in the Cathedral. This will be followed at 10am by the laying of wreaths at the shrine in Piazzale Collenuccio. From there, at 10.15, the procession of authorities, associations and citizens will move towards the Resistance Monument (photo). After the laying of the wreaths which will be held at 10.30 am, in Piazzale Falcone e Borsellino, interventions are expected from the Combatant and Weapons Associations, the Anpi Pesaro – National Association of Partisans of Italy and the student representative. The speech by the mayor of Pesaro Matteo Ricci will close the celebrations. An Italian Army picket will perform Honorary Service. The ceremonies will be accompanied by the Candelara Band.

And tomorrow, at 11.30, again at the Shrine in Piazzale Collenuccio, the PCI will organize the garrison to celebrate the Liberation of Italy and honor all the heroes, partisans, military and civilians, who fell during the Resistance. “It is not acceptable – writes the PCI – the shameful work of historical revisionism and bipartisan mystification, still in progress, which claims to exchange the victims with the executioners. It will also be an opportunity to reiterate a convinced ‘no’ to the Israeli aggression of Gaza and the genocide of the Palestinians”. Also for April 25th, Coop announces that all its supermarkets will be closed.
