Ancona – House arrest and electronic bracelet for two young residents in the Foggiano area (27 and 29 years old with previous records) held responsible for one series of aggravated thefts which occurred on the night of March 16th in the station area.
The two would have introduced each other first in a restaurantbreaking the glass door and subsequently neutralizing the video surveillance system, to withdraw from the cash register 500 Euros.
Second theft in a nearby bar, with 350 euros in loot after having torn out the side window of the business.
Third stop a butcher’s shop. In this case, after having forced the entrance door, the two would have taken possession of 650 euros.
Latest theft in a supermarket. Also in this case, after having forced the entrance door, they took possession of the money kept in a jar hidden under the counter. A decidedly more substantial loot in this case: 4,250 euros.
Police and Polfer began to investigate and thanks to the contribution of Scientific they managed to trace the authors with the images recorded by video surveillance systems installed inside some of the shops, along the streets and in the train station.
Another piece to identify those responsible Fingerprint found during the investigations and attributable to one of the suspects.
One of the two was traced to an apartment in Bologna, while the second was found inside his residence in Foggiano.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ancona thus asked the judge to place the two suspects under house arrest, with the electronic bracelet.
